H is for hope, the strongest emotion in a contest. In sports, matches are often over not when the last ball is bowled but much earlier, when one team loses hope. Champions never lose hope: they always look to win from the situation they find themselves in. There is no point worrying about why you got into a tricky situation (that can be a later analysis): the best thing to do is to stop lamenting and try and make the best of what you have. Often, just hanging in there can open the mind to fresh possibilities that hopelessness shrouds: the bowlers may get tired, rain may be round the corner, you may surprise yourself by playing the innings of your life. So when you enter a contest, and sometimes life presents many, arm yourself with the weapons you need and then ask yourself if you have the strongest weapon of all: hope.
