Going for dialysis is a very taxing experience. Having to go there three times a week makes it even more difficult. I make it less taxing by planning activities that give me joy. I have selected the early morning shift because I enjoy driving on the empty streets with my windows down. At the hospital, I keep myself engaged by reading books, doing sudoku and playing with my iPad. On my way back I stop at the flower market and it gives me immense happiness to be surrounded by flowers.
